Congratulations to Brian Lara and his talented team for the emphatic win over the over-rated Indian squad in the One-Day series. The main reason for India's pathetic show was its shoddy fielding/catching. Lara's team has become the favourite for the Test Series, too. The only hurdle for it could be Anil Kumble. N. Mahadevan, Chennai Ganguly was missed For the Indian team's debacle in the One-Day series in the West Indies, those to be blamed are Kiran More and the selection committee. I think Sourav Ganguly would have played many times better than Suresh Raina and Ramesh Powar. Even Greg Chappell may now feel that Ganguly is better than these two! An Indian team without Ganguly can't win the World Cup next year. Bharath, C., Katpadi Endorsing a fact We agree with Sooraj Kumar's view in the May 13 issue, where he points out to the reduction in the number of pictures in the Sportstar. This is especially true of cricket, with Test match-review pictures coming down to two from six or seven. In India there is a huge following for cricket and the photos factor is very disappointing. Ranga & Prabha Reddy, Bangalore The Serie `A' controversy I was really shocked when I read `Juve's Crowning Shame,' in the May 27 issue. Isn't Juventus a good club and can't it win the Italian derbies without ensuring partial refereeing? I hope that the Italian Football Federation will bring the team to justice. Ajay. S, Coimbatore
